Here's a large binding waste fragment from c1300 which is an extract from the Decretals of Gregory IX - Church Law 

Size 35 x 13cm approx

The fragment is on sturdy vellum and was likely used in binding, hence its survival to this day. The text is in a gothic hand with red and blue capital letters, and is surrounded by a commentary.
