This iconic ANZAC publication was the official soldier's magazine in the Middle East during WW1. Written by soldiers, it has a humorous outlook on war and demonstrated the building camaraderie, and identity formation, of the Australian and New Zealand ANZAC soldiers. The title Kia-ora reflects the Māori greeting, while Coo-ee was an Australian greeting often used in the bush. This iconic publication is one of the most desirable and iconic ANZAC publications.
