This is an early Sydney Almanack which contains a fascinating insight into early Sydney. Highlights include some early attempts at poetry (which is rather jingoistic!), gardening and horticulture advice, and details of ships coming and going from Port. Alongside this is included a calendar, a list of important officials, and detailed land regulations. There are quite a few regulations on convicts and migrant workers.
The almanack includes a hand coloured plate of shipping signals for Sydney harbour.
