Very good condition overall but some toning to pages. Includes a double page folding plates of Kandy and a map Sri Lanka. This is an important early work describing the voyages to Burma (Pegu) and Sri Lanka by Gasparo Balbi and Joris von Spilbergen. Beautifully illustrated with plates by De Bry.
