London Almanack - 1787

This colourful binding houses a tiny pocket-sized "London Almanack" from 1787.

Almanacs were go-to-books for daily info, and were packed with key information such as important dates, tides, postal rates, and civic directories.

Carried by well-to-do London gents, almanacs were often finely and decoratively bound.

This one is bound in red morocco with gold and green decorations and matching slipcase.

Some wear to the binding, but overall an interesting and beautiful little book.
