This small card contains text of the Eucharist and was given to new Māori converts before they received their first communion. This little card would have been an important record for new converts and a reminder of their first communion. It was printed at the Waitangi Press in Hawkes Bay which printed only 15 items during its 8 year output from 1844-1852.
