This is interesting contemporary description of Australia, Illustrated by a folding hand coloured map of Australia, 22 full-page lithographic hand coloured county maps and 4 full-page engraved views of Sydney.

-Royal 8vo. Bound in contemporary cloth biding, rebacked, with small printed map of Australia laid down on front cover. Some foxing and old pencil marks to pages.

-Complete: xvi, 438, 16pp of advertisements

At the end of the book, 16 pages of adverts give an interesting insight into trade at the time. They include a fascinating image of a man smoking a hookah as an advertisement for tobacco.
